2. Subject of the service

Fixed-term rental of camera, video, lighting, audio and studio equipment (“Equipment”) to consumers and businesses in Budapest.

3. Formation of the contract

A request submitted on the website is not an order. The rental contract is formed when we confirm the request by email (with the final price, deposit and pickup details) and you accept it. The contract is concluded electronically in Hungarian, is not filed by us, and its content is recorded in the confirmation email. You can review and correct all data in the summary step before submitting.

4. Prices and payment

Prices on the website include 27% Hungarian VAT. Businesses receive a net + VAT invoice. The estimated total is indicative; the final fee is set in the confirmation. Rental days are counted as the days between pickup and return (same-day = 1 day). Payment is by bank transfer against our invoice, by the deadline in the confirmation.

5. Deposit

We may request a deposit, stated in the confirmation and at most the replacement value of the Equipment. It is refunded within 5 business days of the complete and undamaged return, or applied to fees and damages owed.

6. Pickup and return

Handover takes place in person in Budapest at an agreed time and place. A photo ID and proof of address are required at pickup (company representatives must prove authority). The condition of the Equipment is recorded in a handover report; it must be returned clean and with all accessories.

7. Late return

For each started day of late return, 100% of the daily rental fee is charged, plus any proven loss if a subsequent rental cannot be fulfilled because of the delay.

8. Liability, damage, loss

The renter is liable for the Equipment from pickup to return, including damage by third parties, theft and loss: repair costs for damage, replacement value for irreparable or lost items. Theft must be reported to the police and to us within 24 hours. For drones, the renter is responsible for complying with aviation rules (EU 2019/947, registration, mandatory liability insurance). To the extent permitted by law we exclude liability for consequential losses from Equipment failure (e.g. a cancelled shoot); this does not limit liability for intentional or grossly negligent breach or for harm to life, body or health.

9. Cancellation

Bookings can be cancelled free of charge at least 24 hours before the rental starts; later cancellations may be charged in full. For consumers this does not limit the right of withdrawal below.

10. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

Under Government Decree 45/2014, consumers may withdraw within 14 days of contract formation without giving reasons. If you expressly request that the rental starts within that period and withdraw after it has started, a proportionate fee for the elapsed rental time is payable; withdrawal is not possible after the rental period has ended. Send an unambiguous statement to info@3-2-1.hu or by post. We refund payments (less any proportionate fee) within 14 days by the original payment method.

11. Complaints and dispute resolution

Send complaints to info@3-2-1.hu or by post to our registered address; we reply in writing within 30 days. Consumers may turn to the conciliation body of their place of residence; for our seat this is the Budapest Conciliation Board (Budapesti Békéltető Testület), 1016 Budapest, Krisztina krt. 99. III/310, bekelteto.testulet@bkik.hu, +36 1 488 2131, or to the consumer protection authority or the courts.

12. Governing law

Hungarian law applies, in particular the Hungarian Civil Code (Act V of 2013).
